Jacques Roche
Jacques Roche is a French-American former goalkeeper and coach from Chicago, Illinois, with experience across grassroots, academy, and first-team football. He has spent the past four years training goalkeepers of multiple levels including professional and NCAA Division 1 goalkeepers.
Jacques’ playing career includes time with elite academies such as the Chicago Fire, Manchester City, Arminia Bielefeld, Dinamo Zagreb, and S.V. Spakenburg. He was part of S.V. Spakenburg’s 2023–2024 Dutch Tweede Divisie championship campaign, contributing with both the first team and U23s.
He founded Modern Goalkeeper Academy to bring European-level training and modern goalkeeper methodology to the next generation of American goalkeepers. Weather you're trying to get a scholarship, make the school team, or become a pro, Modern Goalkeeper Academy is the place for you!
